Rathcon fishery is an 8.5 acre lake situated in Grange Con, West Wicklow, about one hour’s drive from Dublin. The lake’s natural appearance and diverse layout sets it apart from other stocked fisheries.

The fly only Fishery is operated on a catch and release basis and is open all year round. The lake is stocked with both rainbow and brown trout with an average stocking weight of 3lbs The fish quickly become accustomed to the lake’s abundant natural feeding and thrive in the conditions.  The fly life is plentiful especially during the early summer evenings when dry fly fishing is at its best. The average depth is 8ft and there are deep holes of up to 20ft where the double figure fish tend to hang out!
